About Ella – a brief summary of who I am
I'm a full-time professional photographer, a cat-mom, and outdoor enthusiast. When I'm not working on creating images (or all the behind the scenes stuff that goes along with it) you can find me playing outside. Drinking coffee and admiring plants.I’m honest and sincere and care a lot about your photography experience! I'm down for a hike or backpacking trip in any weather on any day, so if that is a space you want your photos taken in, then I'm the photographer for you! In 2008 I started photographing the weddings of artists and creative couples and fell in love with it. I specialize in capturing authentic images of weddings with an offbeat and alternative vibe. My style is to capture how you and your guests feel, without being intrusive or clichéd. The images I create reflect my training in fine art while simultaneously bringing back memories for years to come. My attitude is to be creative and easygoing while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.Engagement Photography:
I offer a complimentary engagement session with all of the full wedding packages that I offer. And when doing a smaller package that doesn't already include the engagement session you can still have a fun photo date as an add on. Engagement shoots are the ideal way for us to get to know each other and for you to get comfortable in front of my camera. PS. Engagement photo dates aren't just for those who have just said yes! Every so often it is nice to celebrate your relationship just for fun.Print Products:
In today's world everything is so digital. But your photos don't have to be. Yes it is nice to share them on social media, and of course you will have the option to do that. But when working with me you receive your images in the form of heirloom quality products. I offer a full range of professional print products. From handmade fine art photo albums to beautiful metal and canvas wall art. I have both packages and ‘a la carte’ options that are tailored to each of my photography services. I’m also always happy to create a custom product specifically for you, the only limit is our imagination.Commercial & Personal work
When I'm not capturing the grand adventure that is your love story you can find me creating commercial photography. For my personal work I am continually pushing my conceptual and creative boundaries with long-term projects such as Obscured Light, the Distorted Fishnets series, Selfless and Clandestine.
